Invisalign® is a technique of straightening teeth without the use of braces for our adult or teen orthodontic patients. Invisalign® is an alternative to braces that uses a series of virtually undetectable clear plastic removable appliances called aligners.
Invisalign® uses the latest in 3-D computer technology to create your customized aligners. After determining that you are a candidate for the Invisalign® system, Dr. Cherry sends precise treatment instructions to Invisalign®. They use advanced computer technology to translate these instructions into a sequence of finely calibrated aligners. You'll wear each aligner for about two weeks and only take it out for eating, brushing and flossing. You can use as few as 12 or as many as 48 aligners. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will move gradually -- week by week, millimeter by millimeter -- until they move into the final alignment we prescribed.
